This is truly exceptional Indian food! Some of the best I have had in the U.S. and an absolute gem in Santa Barbara. Worth going in for the in person experience, the old Bollywood movie posters and music set a casual fun ambiance. I grabbed some chicken and basmati rice to go. It is their tandoori flavor. Super tasty, & generous portions. They packed up my go bag really nicely so I could enjoy it at the beach. I definitely had left overs. The sauce it came with was delicious.

Apna Indian Kitchen has amazing food, service and atmosphere. Curry fries are a great group appetizer, masala tea is free and all-you-can drink and rice is included in most dishes. Small details that make dining here all the more perfect. FYI “medium” spice is actually quite spicy so if you don’t like it too spicy then choose mild. Delicious!
